KatoJinu Writer
A manhwa author's tool for drafting chapters and generating illustrations, with its own memory layer.
What it does
A private writing desk for a manhwa author. They draft chapters with an AI co-writer that already knows the story bible (characters, places and rulings), so continuity holds from one chapter to the next. Scenes and characters can be illustrated from reference images and saved next to the chapter.
Keeping it affordable
Long writing sessions with an AI get expensive fast. The story bible is cached and only what changed is sent, and the cost of every message is shown on screen. That brought a typical message down to around a cent.
How it is built
Cloudflare Pages Functions with Hono and D1, on the Claude API with prompt caching.

Chapter desk

- Every reply can be copied straight into the manuscript.
Story bible
- Characters, places and rulings the author has made, kept in one place and fed to the co-writer.
- A chapter recap is rebuilt on demand so a new session starts where the last one ended.
Illustrations
- Reference-guided illustration generation for scenes and characters, saved next to the chapter.
Costs
- Token and cost per message, with prompt caching tuned so long sessions stay cheap.
